Family Pumpkin Bread Recipe

My mom and grandma have been making this for as long as I can remember. Its the best Pumpkin Bread I've ever had, and disappears quickly around family/roommates/humans/dogs. The recipe makes 2 large loaves in loaf pans. Loaf.

1 cup oil (preferably veggie oil, but not olive)
3 cups sugar
4 large eggs

MIX THESE TOGETHER IN MEDIUM BOWL

3 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

16 OZ. Pumpkin-2 cups (read below for when to add)

MIX THESE TOGETHER IN LARGE BOWL

1. Pour the egg/sugar mixture slowly into the flour mixture. Make sure you mixed the flour bowl pretty well before dumping the wet ingredients in there.
2. After that mixture is set, add the Pumpkin in slowly.

Pour into 2 loaf pans or cupcake pan
Cook at 350 for 1 hour.

Enjoy!

Zombie World Record

In case you haven't heard, Zombies are taking over the world. Well, that is my hope for any sort of end-time scenario, at least.

In the meantime, gore/horror/zombie fans can practice their best dead-on-dead impersonation in this year's San Diego Zombie Walk.

Its basically a chance to dress up, get all bloody and pretend you're roaming the streets for brains. Just in time for Halloween!

The best part about this year's walk is that they are trying to set a world record for the largest group dance to, what else, Thriller!

There are still a few Monday night classes left where you can learn the dance.
Remember, no ghosts, goblins, skeletons or shit like that.
ZOMBIES ONLY!!!

Here's come basic info:

Everything You Could Possibly Want to Know About The Upcoming Walk!

Okay, here we go... WALK details... I know you guys have been waiting for them and have all the details for Thrill San Diego, but here are the ZOMBIE WALK details!

WHEN IS THE WALK?

The walk will take place on Saturday, October 27th, 2007 at a little after 3:00PM.

If you want to participate in the walk, please arrive no later than 2:30PM.

We've had several people show up late to past walks and either have to join the walk midway through or miss out completely - and we don't want that to happen anymore! It's no fun to have to run and catch up (besides, zombies don't run) or miss out altogether. Please plan ahead for drive-time, parking, taking the tram, doing last-minute makeup/costume fixes, etc.
